When the little things become the big things…

As business owners, we really appreciate our customers.

Without customers, we don’t have a business or an income.

Customers keep our business going and contribute to our plans for the future.

And when we have loyal customers, our job is so much easier and so much more enjoyable.

We too, are customers of hundreds of businesses ourselves, whether it be the local café, a printer, a telecoms service, a webdesigner, a clothing shop…

But how many businesses truly show recognition or appreciation to customers who achieve something great, or do something amazing?

What would you do?

Send them a nice email, maybe a phone call?

Well, why not make them feel really special and send them a personal message; a hand written note on a lovely card to thank or congratulate them?

You did what??”,

“Just to say THANKS!”,

“You’re amazing”.

It’s so lovely to receive something that’s been handwritten by someone you’ve worked with or bought from.

In the age of emails and text messages, making the effort to “wow” in this way really will go a long way to strengthening your relationship with your customers and prospects.

Business is all about relationships, so make them feel special, and make them feel valued.

This one small gesture  has a big impact on how your customer feels about you - and it will make you feel good too
