Really lovely little pub. They have a fairly classic pub menu but cooked to a very high standard. We had really excellent fish and chips and their beer selection is decent.

Good atmosphere, nice staff, lovely food well presented and a variety of real ales to choose from. A little off the beaten track but we'll worth a visit. Lots of walks around and about and a working farm/ice cream factory you could visit too.

Great little pub with an impressive menu. The food was fantastic, even if it is the first time I've seen steak and Guinness pie on a children's menu! Good selection of will kept real ales and if the weather is right, there's a nice area at the back to sit out in. Highly recommended

The food is absolutely delicious. The meat was all cooked to perfection, no extra seasoning required. Between us we had nachos, garlic mushrooms, ham hock, steak and Guiness pie, wild boar burger, Cajun chicken salad and game pie - we all commented on how lovely and tasty everything was.
Staff were polite, service was quick, toilets were clean.
I would highly recommend a visit.
