Lovely old country Pub in the Lakes with accommodation. Rooms are nice and clean. Beer is well kept. And the breakfast is lovely. All round very good experience, highly recommended.

This was a lovely pub with good beer and tasty food. Very picturesque too. One star off because when we arrived for lunch at 12 we waited a very long time before anyone even noticed we were there! It was right at the beginning of opening time though to be fair. And once noticed, the lady who served us was pleasant and welcoming.

It's a real nice place gorgeous views, it would be 5 stars for food, but we paid for a superior room but it was more like a real basic room just had a shower.

Great little pub with an impressive menu. The food was fantastic, even if it is the first time I've seen steak and Guinness pie on a children's menu! Good selection of will kept real ales and if the weather is right, there's a nice area at the back to sit out in. Highly recommended
