Woz gud. Kidz play area. Kitchin garten. Cafe. Doggy walking area. Inside car park with ample space. Entry to climb to the monument (aka 'the hord' with fanatastic views 360 degrees all round). Nice picnic space to eat your dinner with kids and pets.

A really good place to visit, It's run by a local community charity. There is a play park for children and a dog walking area alongside a nature area. The cafe sells really good cake and the parking is free, definately worth a visit and a donation.

We camped in Ford Park as part of the annual Retro Rendezvous festival and Velo Retro cycle ride. We had such a wonderful warm welcome when we arrived and everything was organised brilliantly. The staff in the cafe were friendly and cheerful each morning and the food and cakes were good. It’s a lovely spot and Ulverston is a great town to visit.

The playground was brilliant for our 7 and 5 year olds. But the 7 year old was desperate to do the orienteering course which seems to be abandoned.
