A real gem in Ulverston. Easy to access by both car and public transport, which made the visit stress-free. We enjoyed a lovely day out during the summer, with beautiful scenery and great views of the lighthouse.
You can really tell the community takes pride in the park. There’s a brilliant playground for children, surrounded by orchards, and plenty of nature trails to explore. The colourful nursery is a joy to browse, and the café is a perfect spot to relax afterwards.
A wonderful place for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a relaxed day out.

Great place to visit. Extend your walk up to the Hoad if you have time on your hands. We liked the animal prints and information. We visited for a fun run and it got quite muddy. Lots to do though and a cafe. Finish off with a nice walk round Ulverston
