Attended an event in one of the buildings here. Affordable parking (funds help pay for park upleep). Couple of great cafés on site - Base and St Marys Hospice. Enjoyable short walks around the parkland.

A real gem in Ulverston. Easy to access by both car and public transport, which made the visit stress-free. We enjoyed a lovely day out during the summer, with beautiful scenery and great views of the lighthouse.
You can really tell the community takes pride in the park. There’s a brilliant playground for children, surrounded by orchards, and plenty of nature trails to explore. The colourful nursery is a joy to browse, and the café is a perfect spot to relax afterwards.
A wonderful place for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a relaxed day out.
