Jackie and the team serve Walney wind cheetahs twice a week after our running sessions.
You can't beat a slice of cake or tea bread served with either tea or latte or even their lovely milk shakes after a nice run from the surroundings of Furness abbey . So many thanks Jackie and the team 😁

I visited Abbey Mill for a breakfast meeting. Oof! What a bacon butty!
A massive thank you to Jackie and the team. We had exclusive use of Abbey Mill for an afternoon tea party for my daughter's 21st Birthday and we had a fabulous afternoon. The cakes were divide, the sandwiches, sausage rolls and mini quiches were delicious and the tea, coffee and hot chocolate flowed all afternoon. So much food, we couldn't eat it all! As always the girls were very polite and attentive and I can't wait to go back.

I absolutely love this place! Fantastic food and great customer service.
I've visited Abbey Mill several times over the last year. The service, drinks and food are always superb. The cakes are an absolute delight, and the staff could not not be more courteous and helpful. The cafe is set in a delightful setting, ideally located for a social drink with friends or refreshments following a walk or cycle ride. In short a brilliant dusiness, a real asset for the local community.
Abbey Mill and the staff go out of their way to provide top quality fayre and service.
I go there two or three times each week to set off for a run with the Walney Wind Cheetahs.
We always look forward to the end of our run where we have excellent post run drinks and snacks.
Jackie appreciates our custom and goes out of her way to assist and support the group whenever she can.
Nothing is too much trouble for these guys at Abbey Mill where all visitors are made to feel extra special.
I love coffee shops, I must visit at least 2 a week, but my absolute favourite has got to be Abbey Mill. From their Raspberry Milkshakes to their perfect coffees, all set in vintage Furness Abbey surroundings featuring funky furniture and a roaring fire. I try and visit every Sunday, I even incorporate it on my Sunday 10k run as the perfect venue to relax afterwards.
The staff are lovely, really chatty, last year I also had their special offer 3-course Christmas Lunch, it was only £15 and just as good, if not better than a meal you would have in a 5 star Lake District hotel.
I love Abbey Mill, I'm just so grateful to have it in my home town.
I had the pleasure of working at Abbey Mill and Jackie was the best boss. Amazing coffee, food and lots of yummy treats. Perfect for a hot drink after a cold walk round the Abbey. They're all hard workers and should win this award!

Lovely intimate and cosy cafe in a traditional building. I really enjoyed the excellent coffee and toasted teacake I had and would recommend it to everyone.

I knew of the existence of this venue, but after sampling the food and drink I can highly recommend this business. A great place to come for a coffee and discuss anything in a comfortable environment.

Lovely welcoming ambience with really friendly service - and the most gorgeously scrummy (and well filled) sausage & bacon roll for breakfast.
We love a cream tea, freshly homemade scones, delicious jam and lashings of clotted cream, so it would be rude not to indulge this Friday during National Cream Tea Day, and there's no better place for...
