Mother and Baby in Barrow and Furness
Bay Hospital Charity has launched the Bayb’s Maternity Appeal aiming to raise £250,000 to fund additional equipment, furnishings and birthing aids helping mums give their babies the best possible start in life in the new maternity unit at Furness general Hospital. 1100 babies are born at Furness General each year, and it’s vital that local families are offered the very best in mother and new born care.
