In the past I have always been against any kind of drastic change to diet or detoxing. I have also had an extreme dislike of milk and shakes.
Having met Sandra through networking and listening to her talk about the Usana products I found myself drawn to do the ‘Reset’ in January. Sandra met with me to talk me through how it would work and to let me try the shakes and nutrition bars to choose the ones I would have for the 5 days. Such is my emotional attachment to food and dislike of shakes (which, whilst mixed with water, still look and taste like milkshakes), I cried at the meeting and felt sick for the rest of the day. I was still determined to do it!
I am a hypnotherapist so did myself a recording to help me accept what I had to do and I listened to this for about 10 days before the Reset was due to start. There was a small group of us doing it at the same time which was perfect. Sandra offered such great support during the 5 days via Skype and e mail, encouraging us and helping us make the necessary changes, offering guidance for future eating and letting us know that we didn’t need to change everything all at once after the Reset.
Well I seemed to breeze through the it and by day 4 I was actually enjoying the shakes and am now drinking one each morning for breakfast with the odd one as a meal replacement when I fancy it. I also have a small store of the nutrition bars for snacks too. I view this as an opportunity to change my eating habits permanently and know Sandra will continue to support and encourage me. This is the opportunity I had been looking for and, knowing that Usana products are healthy, well-balanced and nutritious, made it easier. I have also lost 7lbs in 2 weeks, thank you Sandra & Usana!
