Amateur dramatic company Cardigan Theatre wowed audiences with their production of Calendar Girls and raised hundreds for charity in the process. When they staged the play in 2012 they put on an extra performance to raise even more money. Now they are back with another risqué show that promises to be just as entertaining for audiences. Sex Cells by Anna Longaretti, staged by Cardigan Theatre, is at Theatre Mwldan on June 23 and 24, at 7.30pm.

A great weekend for anglers of all kinds is coming up in Pembrokeshire from June 26 to 28. The Lure Festival 2015 includes catch-and-release competitions for fishing from boat, kayak and shore. There will be prizes for contestants with the greatest number of species, plus total species length, plus a whole range of other prizes for all ages. How many can you catch?
There’s a great festival for fans of jazz, blues and soul coming to west Wales this summer. From July 3 to 5 the little town of Llandeilo will be filled with fantastic music -- and there are events for all the family too, as well as fab local food. And it’s sponsored by Evan-Evans Brewery, so there will be excellent beer and plenty of it! A weekend ticket is only £10, and kids go free.

A Fish Feast with folk music? Oh yes, that’s how we roll here in west Wales. The Fish Feast and concert event being held at Small World Centre in Cardigan on Friday, May 29th, from 6pm, will be a great Community Celebration. There will be a delicious fish supper to start and a concert starring Welsh folk band Fernhill to follow.

There’s a new festival in Pembrokeshire set to run over two days, which will bring the best music and entertainment right into town – the Haverfordwest Folk Rock Festival, with headline guests Steeleye Span!
