With it being St David's Day this Sunday, people will doing something different in celebration of the Welsh Patron. Here are a couple of events taking place across Carmarthenshire this week.

Welsh Food Theme Night -  People can come and enjoy a delicious three course meal at Ashburnham Golf Club this Friday.

Gwyl Ddewi Festival - Live music, dancing, baking competition, Welsh food market are just some of many exciting activities people will find at the St David's festival in Ammanford.

St David’s Day Celebrations - Cawl, coracles and choirs are just some of the attractions on the menu at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on St David’s Day. 

Llansadwrn Reading Rooms' St Davids Day Celebration - This is a community event where you will find local produce and crafts on sale and be able to enjoy a Welsh Afternoon Tea. A raffle will be held in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.

Dydd Gwyl Dewi.... St David's DayThere will also be a special menu on St David's Day this year at the tearooms at Aberglasney Gardens. Some of these foods/dishes are: homemade cawl, bara brith, cockles in a white wine sauce.

Slow Food Cymru St David's Day EventCelebrate St David's Day at Aberglasney Gardens with a Slow Food Cymru Heritage Lunch.
