The annual production by the Abbey Shakespeare Players in the wonderful setting of St Dogmaels Abbey is always a joy. And this year they are staging The Tempest in this magical place. Can’t wait!
Set among wooded hillsides overlooking the beautiful Cothi Valley, these mines provide a great family day out, whatever the weather.
Choose from The Three Musketeers, Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice or Shakespeare’s The Taming of The Shrew. Or see all four!
These walks are a unique introduction to the darker side of local life that are given a magical twist by the tour guide. Not for nothing was Carmarthen considered to be the ‘Wild West’ of Wales.
There’s an exciting line-up of attractions in the Grand Arena this year, including the Shetland Pony Grand National, exciting harness racing and the Inter Hunt Gold Cup.
Ten days of world class music comes to Fishguard and district this month – with the fabulous 2015 Fishguard International Music Festival. Orchestral, choral and chamber music events are featured in some wonderful locations around the area from July 20th to 30th.
Moving to a bigger site this year to extend the camping area and welcome even more visitors is the popular Festival of the Celts, which features a whole range of music and events for the family over a fab weekend at the end of July.

One of the best food festivals around is gearing up for a spectacular show this year, on the riverside at Cardigan. You can taste all sorts of yummie goodies from all over Wales and enjoy activities on the wonderful Teifi at the Cardigan River and Food Festival 2015. There’s live music and entertainment too. Saturday, August 8th, is the date for the diary.

You can travel back in time into a fascinating world and experience how people lived 2,000 years ago at Castell Henllys in Pembrokeshire and there are some great activities there to give you a real taste of life in the Iron Age. There are events for all the family throughout the year and all through the summer holidays.

Fans of the great late Freddie Mercury and Queen are in for a treat when top tribute band, The Bohemians visit Carmarthen. They’ll be strutting their stuff at the Lyric Theatre on July 25.
