A spectacular free Diwali celebration with singing, dancing, food and fun for all the community will make an eagerly anticipated return to Birmingham city centre this weekend.
Poetry Scum is a monthly working class poetry event held in Nottingham, run by local poet Jesse Eden Freeman. Each month there is two paid headliners that feature and this months features Cece and Wolverhampton’s own Shak.
PoArtry is an ongoing annual collaboration project that invites poets and artists to work with each other to create new work. It is the brainchild of Rick Sanders, an artist and poet from the Black Country.
Spoke in the Lamp is back at Brownhills Community Centre, in the Lamp theatre space, on 28th September with a bostin’ headline poet in Scarlett Ward Bennett from Cannock fame.
