EXCELLENT day out!!! Perfect for our 5 year old, animals, dinosaurs, rides, play areas, splash zone, soft play... What more could you want! It had a great balance of everything, an excellent and reasonably priced gift shop, lots of picnic areas / benches. We were there the whole day 10am - 6pm and could have been longer, very tempted to buy an annual pass even though we live an hour away. Great day out!

Zoo has reduced in size since our last visit.Pleasant enough but very small now.We used the £1 for kids offer so it wasn't too bad.Definitely wouldn't pay the full price(£155 for 2 adults and 3 kids).

So we visited Drusillas as part of a package we got last year.
My son had a birthday party which included a family entryas ordinarily it would work out quite expensive for us.
However it was bloody brilliant, of course we went on one of the hottest days but the splash pad kept the kids entertained for sometime.
The initial entrance is really loud and lots of people are all coming through the door but once filtered through there's plenty of space for everyone.
There literally is something for everyone here, we went with ages 6,7,9 and 11 and all of them had the best time. From the play park, to the splash pad and even the little rides at the end.
The rides at the end are included in the entry price which was fantastic but there are a few that are additional charges. There was another which we didn't entertain which is chargeable and I believe you may be allocated times slots but we didn't feel we had to do this.
I believe there is soft play there too but again we found lots of there things to do without do this.
The cafe shop I found reasonably priced and the nuggets tasted yummy.
The little rides include a train which goes round,. sometimes these can be quite busy . We have SEND children, if you make the people know upon entry they offer an access card which allows you to stand in a separate queue and will be allowed on prior to the others this makes things a lot easier especially if you have difficulties waiting in queues but overall the queues go fairly quickly.

It's been about 10 years since I last visited purely down to financial reasons, but I would definitely save up to come again.
The play park was a big hit for us along with the splash pad the only down side is there's not really any where close by to change. The toilets are the other side of the park which isn't far but it means you have to walk bear feet across (obviously not a problem to kids) but was extremely hot when we went.
Free refillable water fountains on site which was really handy for hot days.

Overall fantastic day out for everyone.

The park itself is very good but ultimately it is very expensive with lots of add one, we paid over £150 for 2 adults and 2 children which I think is vastly overpriced, the only saving grace is that you can use clubcard points otherwise I would not go. You can get a day pass for Butlins that includes a lot more for half the price!!!!! So much better value

Buy your tickets online the night before and then you are set for a good family day out. The zoo has plenty of scope and then you reach the play park. For the very young spend an extra £3 to visit Spark playground. Otherwise there's soft play, a water park or climbing frames. The train and most rides are free. We took our own food to keep the cost down.
