The park itself is very good but ultimately it is very expensive with lots of add one, we paid over £150 for 2 adults and 2 children which I think is vastly overpriced, the only saving grace is that you can use clubcard points otherwise I would not go. You can get a day pass for Butlins that includes a lot more for half the price!!!!! So much better value

Buy your tickets online the night before and then you are set for a good family day out. The zoo has plenty of scope and then you reach the play park. For the very young spend an extra £3 to visit Spark playground. Otherwise there's soft play, a water park or climbing frames. The train and most rides are free. We took our own food to keep the cost down.

A lot for the kids to see and do. Well kept animal enclosures and park keepers about all the time. The adventure playground for under 5s was great. My little one, not yet 2, had a great time. Would definitely go again but maybe when he is a little older. Tickets are expensive but you get a lot for the day out. There were also some free arcade type rides that you would normally pay for in other places.

Attended the zoo with a gift of the close encounters with the anteaters. Simon, our guide, was fantastic with a wealth of knowledge and was very interesting to learn from. Credit to Raya and Pablo also for hanging out with us (definitely not just for the snacks).

Really good for young kids, I would say under 7. Only a few rides, but great little zoo (no big animals) and has a number of walk throughs including feeding Lorikeets which was great. Train going around the park was disappointing. No queues at restaurants which is a relief (visited on a sunday).

It is good for kids 6 and under. For children that enjoy animals this is ideal but the rides are better suited to younger children
