Leukaemia Care
29 Glory Mill Ln, Wooburn Green, High Wycombe, , HP10 0SR
eukaemia CARE is a national blood cancer support charity. We are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. A diagnosis of a blood cancer can have a huge impact on someone emotionally, as well as physically. We understand that feelings of shock, anger and loneliness are all common at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and recovery and having someone to talk to, as well as the right information available can be a huge comfort. We not only support patients, but carers and families too who can often carry a lot of the emotional strain when someone they love is diagnosed with a blood cancer. We focus on the support that is needed now to help those affected by blood cancer cope during a diagnosis and beyond. Read more

South Bucks Hospice Warehouse
Marlborough Trading Estate, High Wycombe, , HP11 2LB
South Bucks Hospice’s aspiration is to be the leading community resource for providing palliative and lymphoedema care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and to support their families and carers. As people are living longer with their illness and its side effects, the importance of palliative and lymphoedema care is growing. After many years of providing expert care from our current locations at Pusey House and Cedar Barn in High Wycombe, South Bucks Hospice has just embarked on an expansion plan that will have a major impact on the local community. The new state-of-the-art Community Hospice that we are building will allow us to bring together our two existing sites under one roof. The new Hospice will also allow us to continue to broaden the services that we offer and to reach more local people. South Bucks Hospice now owns the land on the site of the old Kingswood School and has received all planning permissions. The building work started in October 2015 and is scheduled to be complete by Spring 2017. Read more
