Established since 1991, WMCO is a community charity and serves the needs of local residents and the wider public. WMCO is a registered charity – number 1025525.
WMCO aims and objectives
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of High Wycombe without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions by engaging the local authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education. To provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving condition of life for the said inhabitants.
Fundraising
We are always looking for fundraising opportunities for projects to improve the facilities of the Centre.

The Clare Foundation is a charity working collaboratively with other voluntary sector organisations to assist them to become more efficient and effective in all areas of their work. The Foundation promotes established commercial methods, business expertise and entrepreneurism to the voluntary sector through its programmes, mentoring, shared best practice and networking forums.
The Clare Charity Centre provides flexible, serviced charity office space at subsidised rates for charities, and professional meeting and event facilities for tenant and non-tenant charities, as well as community orientated businesses.

eukaemia CARE is a national blood cancer support charity. We are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.
A diagnosis of a blood cancer can have a huge impact on someone emotionally, as well as physically. We understand that feelings of shock, anger and loneliness are all common at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and recovery and having someone to talk to, as well as the right information available can be a huge comfort.
We not only support patients, but carers and families too who can often carry a lot of the emotional strain when someone they love is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
We focus on the support that is needed now to help those affected by blood cancer cope during a diagnosis and beyond.

The Oasis Partnership is a charity providing specialist drug and alcohol support services across Buckinghamshire since 1984. We offer a wide range of recovery focused support options, aiming to help individuals to address their drug or alcohol problems and get their lives back on track.
Our core treatment service is called STaRS, which stands for Structured Treatment and Recovery Service. STaRS is provided in partnership with Inclusion SSS NHS FT. We provide an integrated service offering clinical, pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to people over the age 18.
Alongside STaRS we provide the Oasis Republic Recovery Network, ensuring service users have access to the full range of support they may need during their recovery journey.
Services are offered across Buckinghamshire from our three bases in Wycombe, Aylesbury and Chesham as well as from GP practices and community venues.

Since 1994 High Wycombe Shopmobility has offered the
free daily loan of electric scooters, manual and powered wheelchairs.
Our equipment can be used in and around High Wycombe town centre for shopping, business or leisure purposes. We aim to promote independence and enhance daily living for anyone with limited mobility whether temporary or permanent.

Without your support we cannot provide what we do now - from in-house hospice care to outreach nursing, family support (pre and post bereavement), the sibling support club, and the range of experiences and opportunities that help our young patients and their families make the most of a short life.

South Bucks Hospice’s aspiration is to be the leading community resource for providing palliative and lymphoedema care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and to support their families and carers. As people are living longer with their illness and its side effects, the importance of palliative and lymphoedema care is growing.
After many years of providing expert care from our current locations at Pusey House and Cedar Barn in High Wycombe, South Bucks Hospice has just embarked on an expansion plan that will have a major impact on the local community. The new state-of-the-art Community Hospice that we are building will allow us to bring together our two existing sites under one roof. The new Hospice will also allow us to continue to broaden the services that we offer and to reach more local people. South Bucks Hospice now owns the land on the site of the old Kingswood School and has received all planning permissions. The building work started in October 2015 and is scheduled to be complete by Spring 2017.
