A prominent leisure business has signed a two-year deal to sponsor Shrewsbury and District Evening Cricket League’s 20/20 competition which is celebrating its 45th birthday this summer.
The first signings of the open market stage in The Hundred women’s competition have been confirmed with Erin Burns, Abtaha Maqsood and Sterre Kalis heading back to Edgbaston.

The continued success of Shropshire tennis has been impressively recognised with a hat-trick of regional winners in the annual Lawn Tennis Association Awards.
Sixty-one teams from 30 clubs will be competing in five divisions of the Shrewsbury Senior Citizens Bowling League this season.
Tennis Shropshire’s Cathie Sabin Community Tennis Centre is to be officially opened next week.
