Walsall Council’s Community Protection Enforcement Officers (CPEOs) will continue their work across the borough after a successful summer of proactive patrols tackling antisocial behaviour, environmental crime, and community safety concerns.
As November arrives, Lichfield prepares to unite in remembrance. Each year on the second Sunday of November, the city comes together to mark Remembrance Sunday — a day dedicated to honouring the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who served in the armed forces during times of war and conflict.
Each November, the people of Walsall come together to observe Remembrance Sunday, a solemn day to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and gave their lives in wars and conflicts across the world. The day is marked on the second Sunday of November, falling this year on Sunday 10th November, with ceremonies held across the borough.
Throughout the past month, pupils at County Bridge Primary School and Whetstone Field Primary School were joined by several Walsall FC first-team stars in order to discuss Black History Month and the importance of values such as: acceptance and diversity.
