we were 3 adults and a 7 year old girl on 5th May 2025 visiting what we remembered as Paradise Park Zoo! What an amazing revelation! It is a wonderful place to visit. The staff are friendly and informative, the catering staff pleasant and efficient in spite of the vast numbers of people there! The animals are in excellent condiition and the layout is superb! There is something for everyone of any age and we all had a great day out. We will be back.

What an absolute gem of a place. I was gifted a Red Panda experience by a friend and was just so blown away by the whole venue. The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Kara, our designated zookeeper for the experience, was amazing. Don't go expecting to "hand feed" Ash (the red panda) as he is a wild animal after all. Instead, go with the knowledge you'll have a unique encounter and get to spend time in one of the best zoos I've been to visit. Honestly, we spent the day just being so impressed by the whole venue even though our visit was in the quieter season. 💯 will come again.

The zoo is absolutely lovely. We did book to see the white lions but we didn't see online that they had been moved. Lion enclosure was closed off to the public as new lion attraction was settling in. Cant wait for a re-visit to see them.

We've been visiting Hertfordshire zoo ( aka Paradise wildlife park) for a few years now . In fact we have an annual pass every year since kids were 2 years old . So many changes!
We love all the extra builds and new and improved enclosures!
Good is definitely much better than 6 years ago. Lovely and attentive stuff too!
Now annual membership includes once a year visit to other 9 zoos scattered across UK which is actually amazing as we live a staycation and recently went to Africa alive just because we were near Great Yarmouth and it was free with Hertfordshire zoo annual membership.
Basically it's worth every penny!

Excellent Zoo for kids. A variety of animals to see and an explanation of all the animals, history behind the animals as well. Also it is impossible to get lost as well as that the staff at this Zoo are very knowledgeable and have a genuine passion on what they do. There is also a lot of open spaces as well to down at tables and eat your food

It has the potential to be even more adventurous for youngsters and children. Incorporating more jungle-themed adventures, like interactive rope bridges, could make the experience more thrilling. Consider adding features such as:Treehouse Trails: Elevated pathways with observation decks that allow children to feel like they’re exploring the treetops of a rainforest.Hidden Tunnels: Underground or covered pathways that simulate the experience of moving through a dense jungle.Treasure Hunting Adventures: A fun, themed treasure hunt where children can search for hidden clues and artifacts throughout the zoo, leading them to different animal exhibits and teaching them about the species along the way.Animal Spotting Challenges: A guided scavenger hunt or trail where children can spot camouflaged animals or unique species in a jungle setting.Additionally, the zoo could benefit from introducing more species from different parts of the world. This would not only increase its biodiversity but also educate visitors about the wide variety of wildlife globally. Expanding the range of species would make the zoo a more enriching and global experience for all visitors.

Wow how this has changed from my youth. Expensive entry not sure it was worth the money, however grandkids loved it especially the Jurassic dinosaurs and splash park.
