A lovely place to visit a short drive to the north of Taunton. The Georgian gardens are extensive and themed covered seating areas are carefully placed to offer fantastic views of the waterfall, ponds or countryside.
The formal gardens again are fantastic and there is a lot to see all year around.
There are also a number of indoor areas such as the orangery, Hestercombe House itself and the cafe.
The cafe is well put together with table service and great food. Plants are offered for sale in the shop.

Lovely return visit for the Christmas Market and stroll around the grounds. Well marked out paths around the lake and places to explore with great views. Did the evening light show last year, well worth a visit this year.
