Beautiful gardens, could not go into house. Had to pay for parking on top of entry fee. Cafe could do with update. Not much selection.

Cost us £8 each to get in and costs extra to go into the observatory. I wouldn't go again as it's literally the grounds that you see, you can't go into the castle.<br>I felt it was a lot of money just to see the gardens.<br>We only stayed about an hour.<br>It's fine if have heritage membership but it wasn't worth us paying for it as we don't have much time back at our own home town to do much sightseeing
