I really enjoyed my stay. Room 208 was a little dated but over all ok. The spa was the best bit. The restaurant was nice and breakfast was lovely. Not to busy but a nice atmosphere

The hotel is in a great spot with fabulous views over the west Pennine moors, now slightly reduced by the new housing development. Plenty of friendly and helpful staff on hand to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The executive king room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom including a very welcome full size bathtub - very rare in modern hotels!

Have stayed before, but second to last day had some rowdy guests which staff dealt with though. Think this was a hen party.

We chose this hotel because it could offer accommodation for the whole family at a good price. Being a friend meant we had rooms at a good rate, free welcome drinks and vouchers for wine etc. The Spa facilities was great as it meant the whole family could use the swimming pool and for adult members there was the Thermal Suite and gym available. The quirkiness of the hotel was also attractive with its little street of shops. There were also plenty of walks. The food was excellent and the service made our golden wedding anniversary celebrations special.

Beautiful Complex, Friendly and Helpful Staff, the Wedding Reception was decorated beautifully and the buffet and canapes were delicious but not very wheelchair user friendly.

Great location. Fantastic wedding venue but for the price and current 4* rating, the hotel and rooms sorely need a major renovation.

The hotel complex is up an unpromising road near Bolton. It is laid out as a self-contained village with shops, a good restaurant and several venues for meetings and weddings. Our room was comfortable and clean, though the bathroom was a little tired. Staff were friendly and efficient and there is plenty of car parking space. The spa is well equipped and has a good sized pool.
