Last minute booking here due to travel issues - great room, good food and friendly welcome from reception. Car park seems a bit small, cars were abandoned on double yellows making entry and exit a bit tricky. Overall very good.

Stayed here overnight with my 2 children. The room was clean and very accomadating. My children slept well and enjoyed breakfast the next morning. Staff where frendly and eager to help. Also has a large car park. WOuld stay here again on my next visit to Preston.

I stayed at the hotel for one night. It is conveniently located near to the city. Family room was very cosy and clean. Breakfast was included in the price, which was bonus for the 40 pound which I had paid.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room a bit average - shower had poor”ish” water pressure, room could have been warmer - not helped as the thick window curtain was in front of it. Can’t imagine the room has been updated for 20 years but was ok in terms of cleanliness.
The best aspect was the staff who appeared extremely hard working and conscientious. Had breakfast and evening bar food both days and both were good again staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful as they were in the evening.

I can't deny that this is a lovely place to take the children for an interesting walk. However, there are plently of places to take them for free in the area, so I don't understand the point in paying, when you can go to places equally as nice, such as Fynne Court for free.

They have done wonders with this place over the last 20 years or so. We love to wander around - it's so peaceful and calming. I just hope not too many people discover it too soon though!
