We enjoyed a thoroughly delightful stroll throughout Hestercombe Gardens and took the path through the woodland area, past the ponds with their ducks and swans and came across various "follies" and seats where we could stop and take in the views of the surrounding countryside and the gardens. Hestercombe Gardens are extremely obliging of well behaved dogs, in fact seem to encourage it and this made our day all the more enjoyable - even being able to stop for a cuppa and slice of cake in the Stables Café where our dogs were allowed a bowl of water! There is a small Gift Shop and plant shop which was good to have a walk round. The House is open to visitors and has an ongoing exhibition of paintings and sculptures, plus some other interesting exhibits! We thoroughly enjoyed walking through this beautifully kept, natural garden and will most probably visit again as the surroundings are sure to be ever changing with the seasons.

Usually use their stable coffee shop a few times a week as it makes a nice change from town centre places. Always pleasant service and a nice atmosphere. Only thing that can be annoying is they run out of tea cakes especially when a coach appears. As it is a big seller it seems strange that they can't cater for this when the know that coaches are booked in. Surely you would have enough stock! These can be put through the toaster frozen so why run out of a big seller ! However lovely place and a favourite There is a fee to gain access to the grounds but anyone can use the coffee shop at the front of the premises avoiding the fee.

I booked this hotel as I need to be near my daughter settling her into student accommodation.
I had done two separate bookings to add a day on.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff were very welcoming. The room was on the 6th floor, clean and had everything I needed. Tv channels choice was a lot better than other holiday inns which was great when I finally got a time to rest.

The breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lady on the front was very kind when I was talking her my hands had swollen and I couldn’t get my rings off. She came to help. Breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold dishes.

It’s about a ten minute walk to the train station and it’s around £8 in a black cab from the station.

Lots of shops and restaurants near by.

All staff were lovely

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn in Preston, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff made me feel welcome upon arrival.

The meals at the restaurant were perfect for me. Dyan and the rest of the team made dining enjoyable. They were attentive to every detail, and checked in at just the right intervals. The Breakfast was decent too, offering plenty of choices.

I would easily stay here again whenever I’m in Preston.

I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Preston for nearly 30 days this year and wanted to share my experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Preston, with plenty of comfortable, well-equipped rooms that meet all the needs of a traveler.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, with weekly specials that keep the menu interesting. The service is excellent – Dyan and the rest of the team always go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and enjoy their meals.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Preston, whether for business or leisure.

Stayed for 2 nights for a work trip as a group. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were very friendly, helpful, professional and attentive. From the staff on reception to the bar/restaurant staff, breakfast staff and the housekeeping staff nothing was too much trouble to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was comfy and clean. The bed was very comfy and the food was very good. Would definitely stay there again. Had a family atmosphere which is great when you are away from home. Special mention for Dyan, Fekri,Jawad, and the lady at breakfast whose name I didn't get sorry. Thank you 😊

Dyan, Jawad and Fekr really looked after us in the bar and with our evening meal. They went above and beyond for us. Even giving us bottles of water to take to our rooms. Our manager bought a round of drinks and Fekr gave us a discount! The 3 of them made our evening at the holiday inn Preston extremely enjoyable and memorable.
