Stayed here for a few nights due to a business trip. Not a bad place. Convenient for the town centre, short drive to the station. Preston station is a bit rough, keep your bag close! On the 4th floor, noise from traffic and police sirens is annoying, you are right in the middle of town and can only see cement all around!

Rooms have all you need, would have loved daily biscuits but they only replaced them one day. And why do hotels insist on leaving only 2 milks for the coffee, wouldn't cost much to leave a few more!

Rooms comfy and clean, room service available at a charge. Menu not bad but typical British Hotel food, pasta, burgers, meat etc nothing to write about. Deserts are good.

Staff friendly, be careful if you are rushing for breakfast, there was a queue every day. I would have been happy to sit with another person as there were lots of tables with only 1 person on. Just be ready to wait. Hotel will call a taxi for you...make sure you get in the right one! I got a good telling off..off one of the drivers one day who had waited for me, I had got in another taxi.

Wifi is rubbish! very slow and takes ages to log on...may be worth paying for an upgrade!

Arrived to be made very welcome by Julie who expertly checked us in with a smile and friendliness only to be found in the north of England. Very helpful in helping with a map to find somewhere to dine out and booked a taxi for us.

Hotel is a Holiday Inn - similar mold to them all, only gripe was that the mattress seemed old and really needed upgrading.

Breakfast was a standard buffet - and than goodness they kept my coffee cup topped up!

Stayed here for one night in December when in town for a social event. The hotel is about a ten to fifteen minute walk from Preston Railway Station ( A black Hackney Taxi ) refused to take us from the station because it wasn't far enough!). It is located in the Town Centre and is near a busy road on one side ( which is the side where we were), but I didn't notice any road noise.

At Check in the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and quickly had us on our way to our rooms. The room was very modern and well appointed and while it may not have been big enough or suited to a long stay, it was absolutely fine for an overnighter.

We had quite a late night and didn't get home till about three in the morning. Despite being residents we couldn't get a drink at bar but were offered drink via room service. I don't really have any complaints about this, I just got the impression the night porter didn't want us sitting around in the public areas.

Breakfast was average. Cereals, Continental and full English were on offer, but the cooked breakfast didn't appear very appetising and so I stuck with toast and coffee. If you are "room only" a good quality coffee and bacon roll can be sourced just down the street toward the shopping centre. I paid £60 bed and breakfast for a twin room which was good value for money. A reasonable stay ( almost worth 3.5 out of 5 ) but only if you make your stay short.

We stayed here for one night as we were in town for a social evening.
Holiday Inns are more or less the same worldwide, and this one was no different.
Room and bathroom were clean. The room although small was adequate for a one night stay.
Only one packet of biscuits, and two small cartons of milk for tea and coffee. Why do hotels only leave the bare minimum amount of milk?
The bed was fairly comfortable.
Breakfast was buffet style. The fried eggs seemed to be made of rubber, they were so hard! A varied selection of different items were available.
Situated close to the town centre, a 10 minute walk.
Wi-Fi was hopeless. Very slow, and kept freezing up.
I used this hotel as I am a loyalty card holder.
OK for a one night stay, but would not like to stay longer.

Stayed for two nights at short notice at the beginning of December. We paid 90 sterling per night for a twin, which in my opinion was pricey, but the room was quite adequate and although on the outer side there was no problem with traffic noise.
On arrival I needed to re-print a boarding pass but for some reason reception were unable to do this, but to be fair directed me to the library downtown where I got it sorted.
Breakfast was ok - good selection of cereals, fruit and the usual english breakfast which was very good.Location was good close to the centre and the bus and train station.

We booked 3 double rooms for 2 nights at £75 each room per night including a really excellent Full English Breakfast. Reception staff were very welcoming. Our rooms were comfortable. Hotel is very close to the central Bus Station and a 10minute walk to the Mainline Train Station. Near the main shopping street - Fishergate and some good restaurants.

Decent rooms for £40. Next to the train station- not exactly glamourous!

Have to wait at reception as there is only one person serving- so it could take 10mins to wait to check in and similarly if you card swop doesn't worked which happen about 2-3 times a day- even keeping in Mind not you put it near the mobile!

The back facing is noisy due to the busy cross roads! Would be better if reception could be less one tract minded!
