I booked Theo The Magician for a birthday afternoon tea party in July 2026. He was fabulous. The close up magic is very clever and delivered with great humour. It was lovely to hear the laughter around the table as Theo worked his magic. Great with kids as well as adults. I definitely recommend him.

Great location, terrible food and service
Great location, room was comfortable and quiet
Staff service at front desk when checking in failed to give directions to drive to the room or set up ability to charge to the room as requested. Breakfast staff had to be asked multiple times to get tea and coffee and take our order, dinner in Drop Inn was terrible (fish that was mostly batter in fish and chips)

Me and my friend stayed at Dunkenhalgh everything was amazing from check in to check out. Spa,food , service and facilities. Staff was very polite and professional. A big thanks to Sam at the main desk. Who shared Dunkenhalgh history and showed us two historic rooms and helped with our luggage.
