Our 1st visit to Guernsey was for our golden wedding anniversary. The OGH hotel made it superb with their excellent personal service, facilities and restaurants.
It is an old building so the 60 rooms are all very individual.
The Brassery Restaurant was very good - eat in the conservatory or out in the garden for breakfast or lunch. Evening tends to be inside with open windows. Good choices of food, all very good, superb service.
Lovely bar which does make good cocktails and friendly service inside or out. There is also a bar menu but we did not try that.
The Governor's Room Curry House was fine dining curry with a south african twist. Superb food, wine and service.
The concierge service is very helpful and managed to book us into the Victor Hugo tour (ensure you get an english tour and book well in advance) and the TukTuk tour which were all really good. We also took a ferry trip over to Herme.
The small swimming pool is set in lovely private gardens with sunbeds, towels and free flavoured water. Wonderful pool side service.
A few minutes walk to Candie gardens which are worth a visit. 10 minutes walk down the hill into St Peter Port sea front or shopping streets.
All in all, a superb hotel and visit. We will return.

My new wifey and I had wonderful plans for The Big Party at https://www.painshill.co.uk/ to celebrate our wedding with our favourite family and friends. As we are big foodies, our catering choice had to be just right...
From the moment we met Lyle at Four Gables, we knew we were going to be well looked after! He listened and explored our "design brief" we had carefully created.
He didn't just respond with a quote, but wanted to show the ideas he and Stephen the Head chef had to make our day fabulous!.
The tasting at Four Gables Farm was fantastic, we ate far too much and from that moment our Sharing Menu was decided. We had a follow up session on drinks where Brad and Lyle created evening cocktails that we loved and made from their own products.
The Big Party day itself was magical, more than we ever dreamed of. There was love in the air, beaming smiles all round and plenty of surprises!. The whole Four Gables Team in the kitchen, front of house and serving surpassed our expectations...and the food was gorgeous!
So a big thank you to Lyle and Stephen and a big recommendation from us!

My delivery of two large bags of top soil today .communcation ,arrival delivery on its way ,arrived driver friendly, ask if he could place them in my outer section of garden no problem, very efficent the whole proccess from placing my order to my delivery, have other projects would definitely use M K M Bury branch again .
