Das Schloß war leider nicht zugänglich, wegen Renovierungsarbeiten.<br>Die Gärten sind sehr schön, teilweise ein wenig naturbelassen. Persönlich finde ich das sehr schön, wer jedoch sehr gepflegte Gärten erwartet ist hier nicht wirklich richtig.

Make sure you enter the estate via the main gate and show your ticket otherwise you will be chased by the staff. Even though you just got lost cycling. I was there when it had some work done.

Always a lovely place to visit at any time of year. Lovely more formal gardens with herbaceous borders and roses, with further longer walks in the fields and woods, with a fun rope maze to walk through. Good cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Well worth a visit.

Tour provided as the castle is being renovated and I can honestly say I've not been on a tour where the guide was so knowledgeable and engaging. The cafe has a great selection of drinks and home made cakes
