Went to Garden Show, quite small, but wasn't overly crowded. Lovely plants, knowledgeable people answering questions. Beautiful weather was the cherry on the cake.

The oldest brick brick building in England did not disappoint. A castle with a long and varied history. Thanks to Mrs Stone for the informative guide at the entrance for fascinating account of some of the colourful characters who have shaped the building as it is today. As it is a University you cannot go inside apart from pre arranged tours which happen now and again. There are many different parts to the gardens which have a kind of natural vibe.

The castle was nice, just they don't allow people to visit the rooms (for COVID-19 safety reasons). They host conferences, weddings, etc. Has a lovely garden, a big sundial of the Royal Observatory, a collection of peacocks and geese, and even a maze to solve. Nice experience overall.

Beautiful castle, unfortunately the gardens were near the end of the season so not a great deal of colour apart from some roses and flowers from the daisy section. Knew it was late but did expect a little more.Magic Garden very poor and disappointing along with other parts of the ground.
Wanted a cream tea with my husband as one of our first trips out in a long time due to covid. Only to be told only cheese scones with butter available. With the sandwiches, that was it .But still charged us the same price of a cream tea very disappointing and did look very drab on the cake stand was not impressed. Will hopefully visit again next year but a bit earlier hopefully to see more colour.
Also arts and craft store disappointing, many art pieces to look at but craft pieces hardly anything at all .

A wonderful find tucked away from the main towns . Lovely walks down to the folly and via woodland back to the tearoom . definitely worth a visit
