Had a great day here. Hertfordshire Zoo might not be the biggest but it puts a lot of attention to detail in the different areas. Seeing the decorations and hearing the music make it feel really special. Went on the hottest day of the year but still saw every animal!

Great work from all at BlackBerry Hill - from the showroom choice and measuring up, to the actual fitting of the carpets. Craig and Pete did a fantastic job and we are delighted with the results. Thank you - we would definitely recommend.

Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy.
Hotel is pet friendly. It says the room has a dog bed and dog treats included in the £25 but it didn’t. I would recommend taking your own dog bed. We were a bit disappointed about this.
Breakfast was lovely. Had food in the hotel bar - food was fine for a hotel bar.
Spa was lovely and relaxing - worth a visit.
The overall site is lovely - nice to walk around and visit the bakehouse. Would recommend overall.

I have had several interactions with Systeme.io support in recent days regarding DNS configuration. Even though I have a reasonable understanding of this procedure I still managed to get some of it wrong.
Each query and request I made of them was promptly and correctly sorted out.
In the end I used their free offer to correctly complete the DNS setting for one of my domains. This was very quickly and efficiently done after which they produced confirmation advice.
Thank for your help

Unfortunately we visited on one of the hottest days of the year so didn't get to see everything outside because of the heat. We decided to walk up the valley as the paths were shaded by trees. Every so often you come upon various small buildings, including a gothic alcove, sibyl's temple and temple arbour and also spectacular views in some spots. The pools were interesting with dragon flies darting about, and fish in one of them We rushed the formal gardens because it was so hot. A shame as they were beautiful. Understandably the café were not serving hot food so my husband had a salad and I had an open crayfish sandwich. Both were delicious. We were travelling home so gave the house a miss, which was a shame. The staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman at the entrance. Would certainly like to visit again on a cooler day!

Went to see Jonny Cole on the 26th June 2026, during the heatwave. Temperature was very hot for the UK and my husband did call the theatre to see if the show was going ahead. He was assured that it was, and there were fans everywhere, to keep people cool. Yes, there were fans in the bar area and many fans in the auditorium, but they were fans people had bought with them. There was little to no air movement and as we were in the circle - and hot air rises - it was not the most comfortable evenings entertainment. Just wish they’d said to bring your own fan to be honest. Was better in the second half, as we grabbed some of the fliers for other shows and improvised a fan - along with lots of other audience members, so there was a tiny bit more air movement from that. Have to say although they can’t control the weather it certainly has an impact on the enjoyment of the show and perhaps they need to think of a better solution for both the people on the stage and the poor audience.
