We enjoyed our stay there it's a lovely building and location and surroundings etc, the spa, restaurant, food and bar were all nice. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The downside was the state of the room, it was in serious need of a maintenance overhaul. The largest of the three radiators didn't work and after the other two had been on a while it started to drip and leak wetting the carpet through to the size of a dinner plate. The windows and main door (to outside) were drafty. The window in the bathroom was covered in tiny spiders and their droppings and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long while. These spiders were all around the bathroom. There was an area of serious mould on the bathroom ceiling. And the general fit and finish of the room's carpets and fixtures was shabby.

Really enjoyed our stay here, great bed and excellent wifi. Beautiful building and surrounds. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly they couldn't do enough for us. The foot was great. The spa was good. But did get pretty busy. The only problem was they tested the fire alarm at 6.5am on a Sunday morning! !
