A friend and I met in the Sports Bar at the hotel for a coffee. It was very comfortable, warm and clean and we were very well looked after by Irene.
A great place for a quiet catch up. There is plenty of parking available and all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.

Today we had afternoon tea at the hotel as a girls family day out. The experience was wonderful but the service from Irene made it that whole lot better, she was smiley, friendly and nothing was too much to ask of her. Irene really is a credit to the hotel.

What I like most about this hotel is the staff who were unfailingly kind and helpful - special shout out to Sheila, Kim and Ben who did a great job of looking after us. It is a little tired in places but it is clean and comfortable and good value for money.

A lovely stay over Christmas. Perfectly located just off motorway and easy reach of friends nearby for Christmas Day. Rooms clean and well presented...especially Privelige upgrade! I suspect some might think decor could do with refresh but perfectly adequate for a short stay with the bonus of access to gym and pool. Comfortable beds and good pillows. Good choice of breakfast buffet. Plenty of onsite parking, good accessibility and very friendly staff. Dog friendly too!

Thank you to all who helped look after us over Christmas including Bruna (reception), Lydia (breakfast), Josh (pool), Sheila....and of course...Father Christmas!

Great hotel but the real show stopper is the staff, special shout out to Irene. I honestly believe people will come back for her outstanding customer service alone. The hotel itself has everything you need. We're back and forth to Manchester every few months and we will only book this hotel from now on. Thanks again Irene for your impeccable warmth and unbelievable customer service. You throughly go above and beyond.

Stayed here for a couple of months on and off, the room are standard for holiday inn, clean and comfy. TV channels need sorting as many just noise. Wifi is good. The lift to get to the rooms needs to be fixed it's been broken for ages, there are 2 lifts but can take a while on busy times. Reception are friendly and professional. Staff at breakfast sometimes struggle on busy times and try different methods to deal with checking us in, showing us our table then getting us a hot drink. Maybe best to stick to one method. One of the bar men is excellent, remembers your name and is never flustered, too good for this place. Some staff mean well but struggle with English. The food is a bit bland, fancy words but the chef clearly has no real passion for food.
Glad I don't have a car as car park is not big enough.
Close to town centre, 15min walk to station.

A standard holiday inn in many ways but screaming for an update, It is clean and tidy and minutes aways from Preston town centre. Everything in the room worked as it should, the only down side in the room was the use of bulk toiletries which I don't really like. On a big plus the reception staff are excellent nothing it to much. Breakfast was good selection and well stocked at all times. One issue that the hotel is aware of is there is only one lift in operation, not a problem for me but for those who need it at busy time you could wait a while.

Could do with an update as rooms look tired. Dinner in the restaurant - a limited menu. New staff, who really needs training up before she is allowed to deal with the customers. Didn't know what she was doing and it seemed like she couldn't be bothered with us. She shouted a cross the dinning room to ask what we wanted for sweet.! When she arrived at the table, I asked what sorbets they had to be told she don't know, same answer with the ice cream. I had to ask her to go and find out what flavours were available.
Then when they arrived said the ice cream was the sorbet.
All the other staff in the restaurant were friendly and very pleasant as were the staff at reception desk.
