Lovely 1 night stay, staff were great, visited the leisure club, and although dated, the pool was great, gym more than adequate and bigger than expected with a variety of classes on offer in the studio area. Leisure manager and his team spot on, and great customer service.

Had our wedding reception here. Fantastic, great staff, we were well looked after from the start. Gorgeous gluten free buffet platter made for us and wonderful breakfast next morning. Some overnight guests said the rooms were too warm.

I attended a conference held at the hotel recently and couldn't recommend the service we received enough. special should out to Julie, she went above and beyond to help! i will definitely be back to just enjoy the views of Rivington as we didn't manage to get out much.

Was here to go to a gig and it has everything you could need and it being walking distance to the stadium and shops/restaurants made it even better! Reception staff were very friendly even at midnight when everyone was piling in after the concert.

Zowie booked us the room. She put us in room 782 was very spacious and very clean bed comfy too. Had a few drinks in the bar served by James service was excellent got well greeted on check in. Didn't dine there but next time will do. Chris was the manger on shift that evening he was also friendly. Will definitely come stay again.

Me and my husband got married here at mercure hotel in April. Irene is a lovely lady who made us want to get married here. Rochelle did an amazing job and listened to what we wanted and made our day special along with Chris. Jimmy is also an amazing team member at the mercure hotel.
The evening went smoothly. We recommend this venue if you're planning on getting married. Or even if you want a night away from home as the hotel itself is lovely with a gym and pool.

I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were amazing, left feeling I had made friends. I will return just to see the lovely staff! Excellent breakfast, reasonable prices. Pool, sauna and steam room lovely. Very enjoyable stay

Does what it says on the tin. A little dated and " lived in", it is nevertheless comfortable and clean.
The room was well appointed with all the necessary things including hot beverage facilities, iron and board, hair drier, etc.. The bed was very comfortable and, along with being a quiet room (440), gave me a restful night.
Food was good; a limited menu for some, perhaps, but it doesn't pretend to be a "gastro-establishment" so there is plenty really. Very well presented and cooked to perfection. Breakfast was excellent, and set me up for the day. The buffet is extensive, and the coffee very nice!
Used the health facilities which were well run and clean, but did show their age a little. Be aware they are open to external membership and not just residents. Very good though.
Check in and out was simple and quick and all the staff were very helpful and polite.
All is all, a very good experience that I would happily recommend.
