Great for a 1 nighter but not much more little menu from bar food breakfast pretty good selaction wise but 20 quid a pirson needs to be !!! they have more staff that carnt do enough for you

We recently held a joint celebration at Walmersley Golf Club for my wife’s 50th birthday and my mother-in-law’s 70th, and we honestly could not have chosen a better venue.
The location is fantastic, with beautiful views that created the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. The newly refurbished function room looked absolutely stunning—modern, stylish and finished to an incredibly high standard.
The staff were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the celebration. Their friendly, professional service helped make the whole evening feel relaxed and truly memorable.
We couldn’t have asked for anything more. A fantastic venue, wonderful staff and a perfect setting for a special family celebration. We would highly recommend Walmersley Golf Club to anyone looking for somewhere to host an event.

Went to a joint 50th/70th family celebration last night and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of using this venue. The room is stunning with fabulous views over Bury. The staff were wonderful, extremely courteous and polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. Huge bi-folding doors which opened the room up to the lovely balcony when it was extremely hot outside but also could be closed if there was a a breeze which unfortunately as the evening wore on there was. 10/10 for everything.

Came to the hotel for a weekend of Pendle Witch Tours and ghost hunting. Had a fantastic time. The staff pre so friendly, especially Courtney who was waiting on us in the portrait room.

Stayed here for the Pendle witch tour weekend ,although in places the building needs some TLC the staff here are very welcoming and attentive , it was extremely warm this weekend , we requested a fan and it arrived within 20 minutes , the check in was brilliant , and a special mention to Courtney our waitress for the weekend , always a smile on her face and always attentiveand nothing was too much trouble , keep being you Courtney you're a star

This fabulous house and gardens with cafe and (new and used) bookshop is a gem of Somerset! So near Taunton yet it feels like the deepest countryside. Beautiful trees, lake, formal gardens, herbaceous beds.. One could roam for hours or just sit and meditate in nature overlooking gorgeous views.
The cafe with central water feature is really lovely with helpful staff and the bookshop is well stocked with a range of subjects plus Hestercombe gifts.
