Spa was lovely and clean. Efficient staff and not too crowded or noisy. Loungers were a little too hard to sleep comfortably.
The tables on the terrace were left with dirty dishes for too long after people had left. When we left the terrace every table was dirty.

A wonderful and relaxing stay – highly recommended!
We had a fantastic stay at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. The hotel has a beautiful character and a peaceful atmosphere, making our stay feel really special.
My wife is pregnant, and we had requested a quiet and comfortable room. We truly appreciated the consideration given to our request, and it made our stay much more relaxing. The staff were welcoming, friendly and always helpful.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool and leisure facilities. Everything was easy to access, and the complimentary towels were a nice touch. Our room was comfortable, and we absolutely loved the Elemental Herbology toiletries – the shampoo smelled amazing!
Overall, it was a peaceful, comfortable and memorable experience for us. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a relaxing break.

Rooms were nice and spa facilities were good. Unfortunately the lift wasn't working when we arrived but other than that we had a lovely stay. Staff were great. Special mentions for Aziz and Lenny at breakfast and Courtney and Carla at dinner. All very friendly and made us feel so welcome.

Had a corporate event here yesterday. A good zoo and they do some amazing things for wildlife, inside and outside of the zoo. Highly recommend!!
