Staff were lovely and attentive, they ensured we knew where to go for the Spa, sat us down to have afternoon tea.
They included sandwiches, dainty cakes and scones.
Offered us fruit juices and a coffee each.
Then gave us a fluffy robe, slippers and towels
The pool and lounger area was clean and tidy.
Separate steam and sauna area was so pretty.
The only disappointment was the pool was quite cold and the jacuzzi is open in the pool so it was as cold.
They were lovely when we were leaving, they'd saved us the brownies that we couldn't eat and waved us goodbye.

It's okay, I would say on par in Premier Inn. Overall seemed okay but some areas were a little dated. Would stay here again but would pay for an executive over standard to see any difference.

Do you know I came to the Dunkenhalgh in order to do my own thing christmas and boxing days. Christmas day was made better by family, and friends.
However the room is amazing nice big room, a very very comfy bed. Room and time enough to have a few moments. A comfy lounge with music in the background, just loud enough for you to talk and hear. But this review isn't really about the furnishings really it's about some amazing staff, who helped me so much. Their kindness just overwhelmed me. Never have I been looked after like they looked after me. All without them knowing what I was there for.
The fish and chips that was not really on the menu but still done by Jack the newish chef. The scone jam and cream just made my day. Thankyou. The bar area which is where I spent my day was looked after by Jude, (Bar) Mia, and Sofia. They all gave me table service because they noticed I was struggling. Not just for me but for anyone they gave 100%.whom ever recruited them well done. Pleasent, curtious, kind, but above all made my stay at the Dunkenhalgh far more than it could have been. Thank you too I think head chef Shaun, who came to thank me for my thankyou card and to explain feed back like mine encourages and gives confidence to staff abilities. Thank you so much to all of you I loved my stay.

Good value hotel. Bar is quite small but has good service. Food in the restaurant was ok. They had a couple of events on when we last stayed so it was busy. A lot of curlers and eyelashes....
I had to call reception at 3am due to a couple of other guests deciding it was a great hour to have a conversation in the corridor at full volume. It was dealt with straight away and calmly.
