I have no idea of the rooms but a couple who came all the way from leeds said it's lovely. It waspacked with customers. From the start, parking was easy, receptionest were charming even-though they were pretty busy, bar man was charming and nice, service was good and quick. I saw men enjoying their hot outdoor swim (I only saw their heads😅) over looking the parking area.

Natasha has been incredibly helpful, supportive and responsive from the very beginning.
What really stood out was how genuinely helpful and understanding she was. She was always professional, but at the same time very approachable and reassuring, and we always felt that she was personally invested in helping us get everything sorted.

We stayed for a fortnight and although it's expensive you really do get what you pay for. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel or its very competent team. Eating in the hotel was a real pleasure and apart from busy times the service was excellent.
Is there a downside- well it's an old building and sound insulation isn't great and there was one evening when a function could be heard in some of the bedrooms. That said we were advised in advance and the event was well managed and did not go on too late.
All in all - it's a real hotel and a pleasure to stay at.
