I personally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and historically interesting Hotel in Blackburn, it made an excellent choice in comparison to the bland Hilton I'd stayed in the night before for twice the price and none of the comfort, surroundings, service and beautiful bedroom (our room was upgraded too).
The House/Hotel is 800 years old so some areas do need some modernisation/redecoration however when I personally stay in an 800 year old historically interesting hotel I don't expect it to look like a Boutique hotel and don't want that either, the house/hotel is also haunted by a ghost named Lucette, we were shown around the areas of interest including The Oak Room and told all about the Previous Owners by a lovely & Informative member of staff named Mark who was genuinely interested in where he worked and the history and took interest in sharing the History & stories with us - what a delightful change - a member of the team interested enough to take time to share the history with us - Thank You Mark, very much appreciated.
Parking is fantastic and immediately outside the house on a gravelled driveway so very easy access.
Unfortunately we didn't make it to breakfast as overslept but I'm sure it would have been wonderful from what we saw in the rEstaurant the night before.

Very hot but able to request a fan as room had no air conditioning. Asked for extra beverage sachets and milk but good choice available ( 2 per type)

Both my children went to tuition in the pass 11 plus grammar. My daughter joined 5 months before her 11 plus exam. She originally went to a different tuition, when she did a mock exam there, she only had 30%. Her tuition closed during the summer holidays and also I wanted to find a different place for the mock exam, so I asked other parents where did they go for the mock exam and they said pass 11 plus. I booked my daughter for the summer intensive course and some mock exams and mock review in the pass 11 plus grammar. She did really well at the end. Now my son goes to the pass 11 plus. He’s preparing for his exam on this coming September. He had mock exams, review and summer intensive course there every day from 9am to 3pm. Fingers crossed that he’ll pass the actual exam. Both my children like to have tuition there because the teachers are funny and they really care how they are getting on the process. I’ll receive homework performance report every week and intensive course report every day so I know how my son is getting on.

My son was taught by Graham and I cannot recommend him enough. D has been taught so well and I watched him grow in confidence lesson by lesson. Graham is patient and friendly and very approachable. He put my son at ease from the first lesson. and all the extras he provides via his app are excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending Graham

I couldn't believe how up to date synergy dental care was & how lovely the staff was i had to had bits of teeth where they'd broke & snapped the nice dentist took them out within 10 minutes & they talked me through after care thank you very much & I've recommended my friend to you 😀
