Chard Carnival Committee Ltd

Chard Carnival was revived in 1967 and is now in its 50th year. The carnival takes place on the 2nd Saturday in October each year – We also hold a Children’s Carnival on the 1st Saturday in October each year plus other events throughout the year. Chard Camera Club meet at The Baptist Church Hall in Holyrood Street, Chard on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) at 7.30pm. Club Members work, who enter the digital images and print competitions are judged by WCPF. Constructive comments made by the Western Counties Photographic Jude are given to improve your photography. We are over 60 years into productions and put on an annual pantomime and summer show, as well as charity evenings. Our age range starts at 8-13 years who are known as kittens, 14-17 years who are known as Spyhnx Group and 18year + with no limit on adults age. We rehearse Tuesday evenings, Kittens from 7-8pm, Spyhnx & Adults 8-10pm and also Wednesday evenings 7.30-10pm. Read more
