Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre is increasing its focus on supporting volunteering in the town, inviting local charities to run awareness sessions in its premises, and promoting a wide range of volunteer opportunities.
Rock at the Castle has become a well-established and very popular part of Hertford Town Council’s annual events programme. Over the 18 years it has been running, the event has raised over £50,000 for local charities, which is generously donated by those attending.

Hertford Town Council’s Finance, Policy and Administration Committee met on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 where grants totalling £1,200 were awarded to Hertford Choral Society. The funding will help fund a Singing Workshop, a Conducting Master class and events for the visit of the Wildeshausen Choir.
