The Market Street store of Specsavers Opticians in Guernsey has been shortlisted for Practice of the Year at the Association of Optometrists (AOP) Awards in the UK.

The Guernsey Sports Commission will be receiving £66,000 over the next three years to support delivery of the Street Sports programme from 2015 until 2017, a community initiative that offers local youths the chance to take part in sport in their own neighbourhoods.
