Thursday 16th April Hi *|FIRSTNAME|*, Well they only went and DID IT! And with 2 games to spare! We're proud to tell you that HARBOROUGH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB (HTFC) stormed to victory with a 3-1 win over Halesowen Town last Saturday to secure being CHAMPIONS of the Southern League Premier Division Central 2025/26 and with it promotion of course. Remarkably, this is the club's third promotion in five seasons, and all under the management of Mitch Austin. HUGE congratulations to players, management and everyone involved at the club from us, and we wish the same continued success in The National League North next season. The team are playing their final home game this coming Saturday 18th April 3pm at the Beehive ground, and you really should be there if you can to join in the celebrations with the home fans. The atmosphere will be amazing! There's been a lot of sporting events to enjoy recently, and have you noticed an increase in the number of road runners lately? I assume they're inspired (or competing) in the LONDON MARATHON, the next big event to take place on Sunday 26th April. Having competed twice myself (in my youth!), I know the hard work that goes into the training, so if you are running this year, I wish you every success and that above all else you enjoy the day.
