Thursday 29th June Hi *|FIRSTNAME|*, Thanks for opening this week's newsletter. Well, it's been a very hot June, apparently one of the hottest on record in the UK. And that of course gave a much welcomed boost to the many organised local events that were put on during the month and gave us all a chance to get out and about and enjoy the festivities and fine weather. But looking at the calendar, there's plenty more to come especially as the summer holiday period approaches, so please check our LOCAL EVENTS/WHAT'S ON tab frequently to keep up to speed with July events and offerings as they are uploaded. And of course, it all kicks off with the BRAYBROOKE GIN FESTIVAL on Saturday at THE SWAN at BRAYBROOKE. This annual event from 12 noon - 'til late is one of the highlights of the summer calendar. It's not all about 'Gin', although it's your chance to enjoy some great gin tastings, but there's plenty else going on - barbeques, live music and entertainment and of course a few surprises. AND, it's free entry! There's also the ST DIONYSIUS CHURCH FETE to enjoy on Saturday from 10am - 2pm with loads of fun, food, prizes and laughter for all the family. There really is 'loads' going on. There's the CHAMBER OF TRADE & COMMERCE SOCIAL EVENT at The Beer House on Tuesday 4th July from 6.30pm (Tickets from DUNCAN MURRAY WINES - all welcome). There's the FOOD & DRINK FAIR at ROCKINGHAM CASTLE on 15th/16th July - as I said 'loads' going on! And that's all before the holidays start! July is traditionally a month of beer festivals and this year is no exception with both THE FOX at WILBARSTON and LANGTON BREWERY putting on shows with live music next weekend from Fri 7th July. You could even visit both on consecutive days! You'll then still be free on Sunday 9th July to enjoy the ever brilliant HARBOROUGH CLASSIC CAR SHOW in Harborough Town Centre! And then of course it won't be long until the WISTOW MAZE opens on Monday 17th July with its brilliant new design - 'The Green Sea Turtle' (see image below). We found brookside and the wonderful Dr Ravi about 2 years ago. My daughter, Leah, then 15 has real issues with her teeth. She is missing several and was bullied dreadfully as a result.
Ravi was the first dentist who immediately had a plan. He referred us on to an orthodontist and together, they have worked miracles.
Leah has the most amazing smile now, she has no gaps and her confidence has grown massively.
We are all jealous of her smile and are saving to have ours done!
I genuinely cannot thank Dr Ravi enough. Also massive thanks to the wonderful Evie on reception who always did her best to find us an appointment. I cannot recommend Brookside highly enough.
