Really nice office space with good sized units. Provides a good 60 mbit broadband package (which is not always the case in this town) and a nice cafe near the reception. Meeting rooms are top notch and generally available at a decent cost.

I am sending an email so that I may compliment all the staff who dealt with us organising the wedding reception held on 29th July. Special thanks to Christina Burke Margaret Graham and Adam who were all polite, professional and provided an excellent service. There was another young lady also serving but we did not catch her name but nothing seemed too much trouble for her. All the family were delighted with the set up and the excellent food, it was delicious and we would have no hesitation to return to bolton whites for a function or a meal. What impressed me is that we were not given any less of a service because we were a small wedding party with Christiana and Margaret even making a point of saying congratulations before the meal. I would like you to compliment all of your staff on my behalf because they made a great lasting impression.

Dear Helen, I want to thank you and your team for all your hard work, before and on the day, that made my mum and dad's Diamond Wedding anniversary such a success. Everyone, young and old (6 months to 92 year's old) loved the venue, the food and indeed the whole ambience of the room. You were so helpful and meticulous with the planning beforehand and the team on the day were excellent. As we arrived in the room, the table settings and flowers looked wonderful. The bar and waiting staff were incredibly responsive to any requests. They were very much 'there' when we needed them, without being intrusive. And the food was also a great success....My son went back for thirds! Rather embarrassing but a sign of a good spread. Thank you so much Helen. It was a very special day for our family and friends and you and your team made a huge contribution to that. With best wishes, Gill.

The North Devon Show held it's AGM at Portmore last week. We held the main business of the AGM in a room adjoining the restaurant where 96 people sat down to dine. The food was first class, the staff very courteous and overall there was a lovely atmosphere. We would highly recommend Portmore Golf Park as your venue.

Charles Winfred Dunn, the previous owner of Stone Manor, bought the hotel from Franco D'anielo in 1984 and since then has developed and extended the country house hotel into the beautiful and imposing property it is today. The Original Stone Manor sat majestically amid the estate grounds for many years, dating back to the Doomsday Book, sadly this magnificent building was destroyed by fire. In 1926, James Culcheth Hill rebuilt Stone Manor as his private dwelling with many of the timber structures being re-sited from the last English "Man-of-War" fighting sail ship, the H.M.S Arethusa, to go in to battle. H.M.S Arethusa was built in 1849 at a cost of £97,000, a sum that would probably equate to around £5,000,000 today. In the late 1960's Stone Manor became a private members club and becoming the first premises to have a swimming pool in the borough brought with it many opportunities. In June 1970 Stone Manor became a Hotel and opened its doors to the public so other could enjoy its gardens, tennis court, swimming pool and restaurant. In the mid 1980's building work began extending the premises in to the magnificent building we see today.

Fantastic refurbishment, lovely colour scheme and a new feel to the place. The gardens look tremendous and a cool Pimms on a sunny evening is very relaxing in such splendid surroundings.
