THE homebuilder behind a Wilmslow development recognised in the Northern Design Awards is offering buyers a fresh chance to own a brand new home in the area.

Elan Homes is set to build on the success of The Larches with the launch of a second development less than half a mile away and backing on to Lindow Common.

Featuring just 10 private sale properties, Lindow Fields is initially being marketed via The Larches.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “The Larches enamoured judges in the Northern Design Awards and purchasers alike and because of its proximity to Lindow Fields it was an obvious choice to launch sales of our latest development from there. Buyers and casual passersby have been curious about Lindow Fields and have already been enquiring about the homes, wanting to know more about the style of the properties and when they will be ready to move into.”

Four and five-bedroom homes at Lindow Fields are now available “off plan” by appointment only, with initial process from £579,995.

“The style of the properties at Lindow Fields will be different to those at The Larches, which were bespoke to that site, but buyers should be assured that we remain committed to creating homes they will love inside out,” Marie added.

“Buying a brand new property in the early stages of a development, before the homes are physically built, presents homeowners with opportunities that aren’t available to those who purchase a house someone else has lived in.

“As a general rule, if the roof hasn’t been fitted yet there will be time to make your choices.”

The carefully selected superb specification available at Lindow Fields includes kitchens featuring integrated appliances such as oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer, plus stylish bathrooms and en-suites, with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout.

Along with building new homes, Elan is committed to supporting the wider neighbourhood.

The company has agreed to contribute £42,000 to improve play and amenity facilities at the Gravel Lane and Fulshaw Recreation Ground, with a further £10,000 to be used to carry out works at the Jim Evison playing fields and pavilion. The homebuilder will also contribute £65,224 towards the cost of additional primary and secondary school places at local schools.
