A hand-out to rival those given out by the “Bank of mum and dad” is being offered as a lifeline to buyers hoping to buy a brand new home in Handforth.

Parents and grandparents are supporting relatives to the tune of £6 billion a year, with the amount being offered increasing. Recognising that not all buyers are in the fortunate position to be able to bank on financial backing from family members, Elan Homes is stepping in to help.

The homebuilder is offering to cover the cost of Stamp Duty on selected properties at Handforth Court. Subject to plot, that’s a saving of £7,500 to £9,500.
