Looking for things to do this weekend, here's our weekly tips on what's going on in and around Watford.

Dogs Trust Promotional Day

Saturday 18th July, 11:00am until 4:00pm

If you are a dog owner, then this is an event not just for you but for your pooch to have fun too! The Dogs Trust will be at Cassiobury Park by the Paddling Pools where you cannot only have your dog micro chipped for free but speak to experts for advice and tips on training your doggy. There will also be lots of fun activities for your dog.


Learning about the Art of Archaeology

Saturday 18th July, 11:00am until 1:00pm

Find out more on the art of archaeology at Watford Museum, see the items found by the River Thames with South West Herts Archaeological and Historical Society and make your own mosaics with artists Julie Liebling and archaeologist Nicky Metcalf. The workshop is open to all ages, free and no booking is necessary!


North Bushey Community Fair

Saturday 18th July, 12:00pm until 4:00pm

North Bushey Community Fair promises to be a fun afternoon for all the family, there will be a wide variety of stalls and activities for all ages and a visit from Harry the Hornet.

Middlesex Grand Family Fete 

Sunday 19th July, 11:00am until 4:30pm

This event at Royal Masonic School for Girls in Rickmansworth is set to be an enjoyable day out for all the family with over 60 stalls, shows and activities including the return of The Sheep Show, live music and performances, beer tent and food stalls and much, much more.
