The West Watford Community Centre is holding a fundraising event next week as they hold one of their Coffee Morning and Table Top Sales at ‘The Centre’ on Harwoods Rd, Watford on Monday 20th February between 9.30 and 11.30.
The West Watford Community Association (WWCA) operates out of a converted corner shop, affectionately known as 'The Centre', which is situated right in the heart of West Watford. It is one of the more deprived areas of the town and represents a wealth of different cultures.
The West Watford Community Association offers a range of services to local people, but need funding to continue to be able to meet the needs of the diverse local community. These range from activities for young and old, from a baby and toddler group up to exercise groups for the over 50s. The Centre also hosts community coffee mornings, a stroke support group and English classes, and a drop-in centre, all aimed at helping people in the Watford area.
