Are you an artist who is looking for a exhibition space? Then look no further than the Watford Museum, who are looking for submissions of art of all forms for 2012.

The Space2 Gallery want to provide artists with an exciting opportunity to show their work as well as using the exhibition to encourage the people of Watford to enjoy the visual arts.

The gallery enjoys 25 meters of hanging space as well as room for three dimensional works and are looking to show pieces created within the last two years to show off contemporary artists talent.

“We want to raise the profile of Watford as a town that is supportive of the visual arts and attract new visitors to the Gallery2” said Sophie Cady, Art Development Officer. “This is an amazing opportunity for artists to use the Space2 Gallery! The gallery has 25 metres of rail and space for 3D artwork. We are looking for new and innovative art work created in the last two years, to really show off artists’ talent.”

If you think that your work has what it takes, then you need to have your submissions in by midday on Friday 23rd December. If you are selected you will be invited to take part in talks and educational sessions during the two month show.

Exhibiting in the show is free, but the Gallery will charge of 10% on any sales to help cover their costs.
