The Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend will see something special available to shoppers visiting Watford Market as it plays host to the monthly guest Artisan market on Saturday 2nd June 2012.
With a range of stalls featuring work from a collection of local artists and designers, you will be able to browse and purchase anything from jewellery to paintings; prints to clothing; and textiles directly from their creators.
And June's visit from the Artisan market also sees graduates from the West Herts College Arts and Fashion courses given the chance to showcase their final projects.
Many of these pieces of art and design are totally unique ‘one-off’ creations, from promising local artists.
The Artisan market gives you the chance to support local art and who knows, snap up an early work from a future Turner prize winner!
