School's out but Santa's not here yet, resulting in hyper kids and frazzled parents.

On Saturday 22nd December from 9:00am to 11:30am Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust is running a Christmas Coaching Special for young football players aged 6 - 12 years giving them the opportunity to experience professional coaching.  Taking place at UCL Training Ground, London Colney this event not only gives them coaching by Trust qualified coaches, but they will also get a matchday programme and FREE gift and two matchday tickets for Watford -v- Nottingham Forest at Vicarage Road Stadium (children must be accompanied by an adult)

The cost is £25 but there are generous discounts for groups of 20+  50+ or 100+ players.

Full details can be found on our thebestof Watford's Events page.

And when everything suddenly feels a bit flat, Santa's been, brought what they wanted and yet by the 27th December they're complaining that they're bored (happens every year!) why not book them onto the Christmas Football Holiday Camp taking place at Cedars Youth and Community Centre, Harrow Weald.

Running from 10:00am to 3:00pm and catering for children aged 5 to 13 years coaching is provided by Watford FC CSE Trust coaches, and these fun football sessions are just the thing to drag them away from the games console and expend a bit of energy (not to mention give you a few hours breathing space!) which makes the £8 per day cost an absolute bargain!  Sessions take place on the 27th and 28th December and more details can be found on the website at www.watfordfccsetrust.com

Coaches for all events are FA Qualified, CRB Checked and possess valid Child Protection and First Aid Certificates. Children attending the Christmas coaching sessions should wear appropriate clothing and will need to take a packed lunch and drinks.

So there you have it, I would say it's definitely Watford FC CSE to the rescue - ‘Making a positive difference for all through sport and learning'.
